There are redheads, brunettes, auburn and gray,
And gentlemen prefer blondes, as some people say.
There’s curly and straight also permed and beehive,
But there’s only one Hair for me; and she is alive!
She’s friendly and gracious; witty and wise.
Her smile brightens a room, as the sun in the skies.
Jan's helpful and loyal, also very well read.
Patience is a must with Jack and Brian, nuf said.
When not about labor she likes to have fun,
Every contest she enters she’s won at least one.
There’s answers for crosswords, and poppers for fishing,
Playing hearts and bullshit; also fireside wishing.
Her laugh is contagious, did I mention her smiles?
If you wake her up, the blast will be seen for miles!
She’s such a good sport, and prefers dogs to a cat.
